About the Job:
The Headmaster and Governors at Trinity Catholic High School are seeking to appoint a Director of Religious Education who will provide professional leadership and management of an outstanding RE Department and who will be responsible to lead and develop the Catholic character and distinct Ethos of our school. Religious Education permeates all aspects of school life at Trinity the Director of Religious Education will be responsible for the strategic development of Religious Education across the school.

The Director of Religious Education will lead the liturgical experience and spiritual life of the school and they will take a leading role in supporting the Headmaster, the Governors and the Senior Leadership Team to develop a rigorous and broad curriculum in Religious Education. The Director of Religious Education is responsible to develop and ensure implementation of the whole-school policy for RE in line with the aims and policies of the school. It is important that the Director of Religious Education is involved in the extracurricular life of the school and that they lead and organise events and activities that raise the profile of RE and the Catholic ethos across the school.
