What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to a restructuring of the Curriculum Area, we require an outstanding, ambitious Director of Science to start September 2023 or sooner if available. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will lead the Science Team, maintaining a relentless focus on Teaching & Learning, and raising achievement.

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising pupil outcomes. You will ensure that the curriculum suits every type of learner and have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. Commitment, excellent organisational and motivational skills are essential.

In addition to leading the Science Curriculum Area, there is opportunity in the future to take on whole school responsibility as you develop in post to support your growth as a leader.
