Director of Science job summary
Required for January or April 2021
The Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional scientist, teacher and leader to the post of Director of Science. You will join a very experienced and strong team of middle leaders who have contributed to a rapid rise in outcomes across the Trust. You will demonstrate a passion for the subject and have a clear vision for outstanding provision across all three Science.
We welcome applications from middle leaders with a strong track record leading a department, as well as those who have other leadership experience or experienced teachers ready for their next challenge. The role will include teaching GCSE and could include A level teaching, providing leadership and management of staff, developing enrichment opportunities for students and demonstrating the ability and commitment to securing high standards of student achievement.
The current team of Science Teachers are all specialists and there is a strong track record of success at both GCSE and A Level. Results at GCSE level and A level are very strong.
