Director of SEND and Safeguarding job summary
We are looking to appoint a Director of SEND and Safeguarding to provide exceptional leadership of these important areas of our work across our six schools.
This is an exciting, first-time post and the successful candidate will work with colleagues in our four primary schools and two secondary schools to agree on best practices and then work together to make our approaches world class.
The successful candidate will report directly to, and work closely with the Chief Executive and will be a key member of the Trust’s Executive Team.
You will lead and standardise the Trust's strategic and operational approaches to SEND and safeguarding. This role would be ideal for an outstanding practitioner with significant experience in the areas of SEND, inclusion and safeguarding across one or more schools.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
