Drum/Percussionist Tutor

Minimum of 4 hours per week term time
Rate of pay: £26 per hour
Are you a passionate and dynamic individual with a love for drumming? Do you have a genuine interest in passing your knowledge to those who are keen to learn. Then join our music department as a Drum Tutor and be a part of this exciting team. This position would be part time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and enjoyable drum lessons for students.
- Plan and adapt lessons according to individual student needs.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Demonstrate a fun and professional approach in all interactions.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall music education experience.
- Maintain a customer service-oriented approach, ensuring excellent communication with students and parents.
- Exhibit strong organisational and timekeeping skills to manage lesson schedules effectively.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in drumming at a minimum of Grade 8 standard.
- Teaching experience is ideally required. We are open to considering enthusiastic individuals with a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Customer service-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit students of various ages and skill levels.
