We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our specialist Unit Provision Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a skilled, multi-disciplinary team supporting pupils with a range of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). All 100 pupils have an Educational Health Care Plan for Cognition and Learning, Speech Language and Communication or Autism and are working significantly below age related levels. Pupils are taught in small classes of 8-15 by specialist staff.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning, helping pupils to overcome barriers and achieve success. The role is varied supporting in class and the wider local community. You will play a vital part in delivering personalised learning programmes, supporting pupils' academic progress as well as their social, emotional and personal development.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy and resilience, alongside strong communication and teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs.
