What skills and experience we're looking for
As a DT Technician you will support the DT department in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required.
Assisting teachers and supporting teaching and learning within the classroom, you will be required to work with small groups of students as well as across whole classes. As a DT Technician you will be expected to support the preparation of materials and demonstration of lessons, ensuring resources are stocked and available as well as managing the classroom so that it is tidy, clean and free from hazards.
Health and Safety is paramount in this role, so an understanding of safety within the workplace is required, especially when working around machinery.
