What skills and experience we're looking for

To organise the provision of practical support for the relevant curriculum area for staff and pupils at all key stages in the school/college. To assist the respective head/s of department in securing an environment in which pupils can safely pursue investigative practical work, and effectively learn the more complex aspects of the subject area. To support trainee teachers within the department, and assist in the supervision, management and development of technicians.

Richard Lander School is a popular school, over subscribed in several year groups. We have 1495 students on roll and this number is growing.
Mr Steve Mulcahy, is our Headteacher and has been since 2008. The building and grounds are part of a PFI contract and are maintained to a very high standard.
