DT Technician job summary
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and outstanding Design and Technology teacher to join our successful and popular department.
We currently offer Resistant Materials in Years 7, 8 and 9; Graphics in Years 8 and 9, and Food & Nutrition in Years 7 & 9. Students can currently choose to take GCSE and A-Level courses in Graphic Products and Resistant Materials, and Food, Preparation and Nutrition up to GCSE. We are looking to recruit an all-round design technology teacher who will have proven experience across the Key Stages in Design Technology. NQTs are also welcome to apply.
You would be responsible for delivering outstanding lessons and contributing to the wider education agenda, inspiring learners and raising standards. The successful candidate would be expected to be familiar with equipment used in school woodwork and engineering workshops, as well as the food room, and prepared to be trained in technology developments. Candidates should also be self-motivated and adaptable.
The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, there you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
