At Dunbury CE Primary Academy, we are delighted to be opening a brand-new preschool class in the most spacious, peaceful, village school-based setting. Our nursery takes pupils from 2 years, 9 months old. Pre-school children will have the advantage of integrating with Reception children at the Early Years Base as well as many opportunities for a bespoke curriculum suited to their own stage of development.

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and confident person to undertake a Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship to begin our journey with us! You must be someone who is willing to learn and can support children to thrive in our nurturing school setting, where high expectations and our strong school vision of flying high together runs deep.

As an apprentice, you will be required to work 30 hours per week which includes one day at college. This is a fixed term position for 18 months.

Why you will not want to miss this opportunity!

The Early Years base has been newly refurbished and resourced for this exciting new provision. We are one school, on two sites and our strong sense of togetherness was noted in our recently outstanding SIAMS report (March 2025)

The benefits of school-based nurseries are extensive – younger children grow and develop in a challenging and exciting environment, becoming familiar with the school’s routines and expectations which results in them being well prepared for starting school.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged and can be arranged by contacting the school office on 01258 880501
