Early Years Assistant (Grade 4 SCP 3-5)
32.5 hours or 35 hours per week (5 days per week) preferable but less hours will be considered (must be full days)
Salary £18,562 - £19,312 pro-rata.
Term Time Only: 39 weeks 195 days, permanent
Working hours for 32.5 hours per week are 8:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom)
Working hours for 35 hours per week are 7:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom)
and 8:50am to 4:05pm alternative weeks to cover breakfast club every other week.
Actual salary for 32.5 hours £13,901 - £14,462
Actual salary for 35 hours £14,970 - £15,575

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Assistant to join our friendly, supportive, hardworking team. The role will require you to work as a key person and member of a class team delivering the EYFS, in the classroom and our magical outdoor learning environment. You will be working with children aged between 2 and 4 years old, some of whom have additional needs.

You must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
You must have a good level of written and spoken English.

We are the only Local Authority Maintained Nursery School in Peterborough, as such we have a Head teacher and teachers who lead each of our classes. We take children from 2 to 4 years of age.
Set within our Nursery and Woodland Gardens, the Nursery School consists of three classrooms which are designed to offer an environment where children are safe, inspired and happy. We are dedicated to working alongside parents to provide for the care and development of the children in our school.
