What skills and experience we're looking for
Our pre-school wishes to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and outstanding Nursery Assistant / Early Years Educator to supervise the activities of children in the setting. The overall duties (1:1 or room based) would be dependent on the dynamic need of the pre-school. This role also comes with the opportunity for additional hours covering the Early Birds and After School club sessions.
WE ARE SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL WHO:
- Is able to adapt to suit the needs of the children and be able to inspire and engage them.
- Is able to support individuals and small groups in their learning and use their initiative to personalise and adapt where necessary.
- Is willing to undertake additional training to meet the needs of the children.
- Is reflective and committed to professional development.
- Is enthusiastic about the education of children, across every area of the curriculum.
- Can build and maintain professional and positive working relationships.
- Has previous experience of working with Nursery age children in a learning environment.

Lytchett Matravers Primary school is a Rights Respecting School, located in a rural village location and has been at the heart of the community for many years.
The pre-school has recently become part of the LMPS family. We traditionally have an extremely low staff turnover and this role is a rare opportunity to join our friendly team of hard-working individuals. Everything we do has the child at the heart and every member of staff lives our ethos.
