Pay scale
- Inner London NCJ scale, points 7 to 10 depending on interview assessment. Full time equivalent to be prorated to term time only work pattern.
What skills and experience we're looking for
Job Title: Early Years Educator, Level: 4
Relevant Experience (essential)
- Recent experience of working in a Trust setting as a teaching assistant
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
- Computer literacy: ability to carry out a variety of general ICT tasks e.g. upload photographs
- Basic knowledge of First Aid (desirable)

Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, and has an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people.
Qualifications (essential)
- Numeracy and literacy qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Completion of Early Years TA programme of study e.g. NVQ3
- Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study etc.
Personal Qualities (essential)
- Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
