Early Years Foundation Stage Leader Vacancy
The governing body are seeking to employ an inspirational and highly motivated Early Years Foundation Leader with outstanding teaching skills who will take specific responsibility and accountability for the day to day management and organisation of the EYFS, including our Preschool. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the EYFS team, line managing and reviewing the performance of identified staff (as directed by the headteacher).
Hall Orchard is a good and popular three form entry school with a culture of high expectations of both academic achievement and personal and social development. We offer a curriculum that is exciting, vibrant and promotes a love of learning. We provide many opportunities to enhance the learning experience for our children and help them develop as well-rounded individuals. Our Early years provision includes fantastic purpose built outdoor learning areas, specious Preschool provision and large open plan Reception classrooms.
We are looking for an excellent leader and practitioner who is passionate about Early Years and will be an active part of the school leadership team.
Full time and permanent, starting Tuesday 30th August 2022.

• Someone who can coordinate and evaluate continuity and progression across preschool and Reception, into year 1, through professional dialogue, shared practice and focussed monitoring and evaluation.

Hall Orchard CE Primary School is a large, vibrant and successful school where children thrive both academically and socially, through a rich and exciting variety of educational experiences. Our children excel and develop a love of learning. Our excellent staff team are committed and dedicated to ensuring that each and every child achieves, within a happy caring and stimulating environment.
Our school is situated on Church Street in the centre of Barrow-Upon-Soar. We have three main buildings with two double classrooms in mobile accommodation. The Victorian building has four classrooms, cloakrooms, and toilets. The 1995 extension connected all school buildings for the first time and has 3 classrooms, cloakrooms, and toilets. The administration block leads to our 1970 Orchard building. This houses 10 class bases, the main hall, large studio, cookery area and library. Outside we have two large play areas, and a sizable school field. In addition the foundation classes have their own secure play area.
Our Preschool and Breakfast and After School Club are housed in a separate building. It has its own kitchen, toilets and outside areas
