What the school offers its staff

The Learning for Life Partnership along with the Principal at Wheelock Primary School wish to appoint an inspirational EYFS Phase leader who will continue to take our Early Years Foundation Stage on an exciting journey as the school grows in size. The EYFS Phase Leader will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the school’s curriculum, delivering high quality teaching and effective use of resources. They will work to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils, while also carrying out their duties as a classroom teacher. This post will be based in Reception. The successful candidate is expected to be exceptionally well organised and flexible with very high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour and have a drive to make a positive difference to the education of all pupils. They will have excellent communication skills and evidence of continued professional development.Wheelock School is just about to go through a period of expansion and the EYFS Phase Leader will be expected to work closely with senior leaders to manage this expansion successfully.Wheelock Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
