What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can:

  • Ensure high standards of education and achievement within the classroom.
  • Demonstrate experience of teaching across the primary age range.
  • Understand and plan for foundation stage.
  • Demonstrate an up-to-date Early Years Pedagogy.
  • Work closely with the rest of the staff team and support all aspects of school life.
  • Motivate, challenge and inspire staff and pupils.
  • Commit to working in partnership with the Headteacher and other senior staff both at Bridport Primary and across Initio Learning Trust.
  • Work within the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools framework.
