Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher - Full-time / Part-time job summary
How would you like to build your Early Years teaching career in an idyllic rural setting, rated good by Ofsted in 2017, offering the traditions of a rural village school with exceptional facilities? This role is full-time or part-time (minimum three days per week) for the right candidate.
We are looking for an exceptional Early Years teacher to teach our Reception class and join our enthusiastic and imaginative team at Smarden Primary School. The children here are impeccably behaved and despite being small in size, we are huge in ambition. We have beautiful grounds and a thriving Forest school, which is integrated into our inspiring curriculum. We are very much a family school and play an active role in our community - taking part in many events in our beautiful village, supported by an incredible team of parents.

We actively encourage teachers to engage in research informed practice and reflective thinking and as a member of the Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), we not only work collaboratively across the school, but with other schools across the trust.
