Early Years Lead and Class Teacher job summary
Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher, looking to take the next step in your career development? We are looking to appoint an experienced, talented, enthusiastic and committed teacher to lead our Early Years team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EYFS Lead at Alverton Primary School to join our successful, hard-working and friendly team who want to give the children the very best learning experience that they can. The successful applicant will be a teacher in one of our Early Years classes and will lead and oversee the teaching and learning within the Early Years team, including our on-site Day Nursery. You will be part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team and work alongside the Head Teacher, Deputy Head and Day Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of our Early Years provision for children from ages 2 to 5.
The post will begin on 1 September 2022.
The successful applicant must:
have a track record of excellence in their classroom practice;
have ambition, drive and a passion for learning both indoors and outdoors;
have a proven ability to lead school improvement and development, including monitoring achievement and supporting colleagues;
lead a positive team of professionals to realise the potential of our setting and our children;
deliver creative and exciting EYFS provision within their own classroom and across the setting, developing the children’s love of learning;
promote and lead high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour through positive classroom management;
work exceptionally well as both part of a team and as team leader, communicating effectively with staff, children and parents.
