Early Years Leader job summary

The children, staff and governors of Birch Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated Early Years Foundation Stage Leader to join our friendly, hardworking team. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and have a sense of humour and have experience of teaching in Early Years.

Birch Hill is a two form primary school with a 27 place nursery for 3-4 year olds offering flexible provision. We are an inclusive and respectful school. Our Motto is Learn, Believe, Achieve Together and all of our work stems from this. We are passionate about making Teaching and Learning engaging and committed to Inclusion. We have a KS2 Inclusion class (8 places MLD/ASD), which is linked to the local Special School – Kennel Lane. The school is well resourced and has extensive outside space including a large ‘Edible’ playground project.

Birch Hill Primary has just been judged Good in our Ofsted report (October 2019).
