Your Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our passionate and enthusiastic team in Early Years. The successful candidate will support a range of children in Early Years with different needs within the classroom setting. They will be a professional individual who shares our vision of having high aspirations for the children and nurturing a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and be a strong team player.
What we are looking for:
You will be:
Have grade A to C in GCSE Maths and English.
Have experience of working in an Early Years setting.
Able to stay calm and can demonstrate resilience when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
Able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare, personal and social needs of the child that you are supporting.
Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, including working closely with parents and outside agencies.
Able to relate exceptionally well with children and to go that extra mile to help them achieve.

The details:
Start date: As soon as possible
Pay Scale: GLF Associate 2
Salary: £18,000 - £21,100 (Full time equivalent)
Pro Rata: £13442 - £15757 (actual)
Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2022
Hours of work: Part time - Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.15pm - 31.25hours weekly, 39 weeks per year.
