We are looking for someone who can make a difference to a child’s learning, who is committed to developing self-confident and independent children

We currently have vacancies within our Early Years department for learning support assistants in both our Pre-School and our Reception class. A knowledge and understanding of the EYFS would be beneficial to this role, however training will be provided.

The role will include: -

  • Working alongside class teachers and other practitioners to support the needs of all the children
  • Ability to identify, support and plan for children’s next steps
  • Implementing personalised strategies and plans
  • Taking guidance from the SENCO, teachers and parents
  • Providing tailored, individual support to facilitate the child’s learning.
  • Monitor and feedback on progress
  • Supporting small groups of, and/or individual children with their learning
  • Being responsible for the learning and achievement of children you work with
  • Supporting children in a pastoral role
  • Demonstrating high expectations for children
  • Upholding the school values at all times
  • Being highly professional
  • Able to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
