The children, staff and governors are seeking to appoint a motivated Early Years Foundation Stage Leader to join our friendly, hardworking team. The successful candidate should be a qualified teacher, enthusiastic and have a sense of humour and have experience of teaching in Early Years.
The jobholder will lead the Early Years team and teach full time in a Reception class with release time for leadership as appropriate.

Birch Hill is a two form primary school with a 27 place nursery for 3-4 year olds offering flexible provision. We are an inclusive and respectful school. Our Motto is Learn, Believe, Achieve Together and all of our work stems from this.
We are passionate about making Teaching and Learning engaging and committed to Inclusion. We have a new Specialist Resource provision for child with autism and moderate learning difficulties. The school is well resourced and has extensive outside space including a large ‘Edible’ playground project.

Birch Hill Primary has just been judged Good in our Ofsted report (October 2019).
