Early Years Practitioner job summary
At Greenleas we have a friendly nurturing environment which supports all our children from the age of two to nine to be happy and confident in their learning. We offer a happy working environment for staff and excellent facilities for our local community. We have two school sites. This role is at our Kestrel Way (LU7 4WZ) site.
This role is in our Early Years Team, supporting children in our purpose built provision . We take children from the age of two to four years. Usually children move to our early years 'pre-reception' class in the year prior to starting in the main school.
We are a friendly team focused on providing the best start to our children's educational journey.
As an early years practitioner at Greenleas you will have the opportunity to lead a range of activities, including role play, storytelling, early phonics and more! Your day to day role will be ever-changing and interesting.
This role is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week Monday-Friday.

We are a two-site school in the market town of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. We have over five hundred and sixty main school pupils in addition to those attending our Early Years provision which brings our total number to nearly seven hundred. We have one hundred and thirty staff across both sites.
We have a senior and middle leadership structure, providing opportunities for career development.
Our teachers have shared PPA on a Friday afternoon and come together across both sites for our staff meeting/Inset every Wednesday. We plan as a team across both sites.
