Early Years Practitioner job summary

Manor Wood Children's Centre are seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join our strong team. We are looking for a highly motivated and exceptional individual who is passionate about delivering the highest level in childcare and has a passion for childcare as well as a love of the outdoors. The successful candidate will be joining a like-minded and friendly team.

This position will be alongside other inspirational childcare professionals with a range of childcare qualifications. You will be working as part of a team to provide high quality child care that meets the professional inspection standards, and support the provision of a stimulating and effective Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which will enhance children’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual development.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A passion for supporting children to learn.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and outside agencies.

  • Energy and enthusiasm for this exciting challenge.

  • High expectations of children.

  • Knowledge and experience of the EYFS and the Reggio Emilia approach.
