What skills and experience we're looking for
Experience of working with children in an education or childcare environment within the EYFS.
Experience of working with children from a diverse range of backgrounds, and cultures, etc
Knowledge of child development and the ability to plan appropriate learning opportunities.
Practical knowledge and application of Early Years Foundation Stage
Thorough understanding and experience of Safeguarding procedures.
Ability to use ICT effectively.
Ability to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment.
Awareness of inclusion and commitment to equality of opportunity.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral)
Working in an environment where literacy and numeracy skills have been demonstrated
2. Qualifications
NVQ Level 3
Or
Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience

Rawmarsh Children’s Centre has a long and rich history of excellence dating back to it first opening as a state funded Nursery School on 13th July 1939. We have continued to expand and widen our services over the years to include 2-3's provision in June 2002 and Children’s Centre designation in September 2002.
