Early Years Practitioner job summary

Saxmundham Primary is a thriving 315 place primary school with a Nursery for children from three years old. The school has a strong community ethos and we are committed to meeting the needs of our children and families through a broad curriculum and pastoral offer. Our enthusiastic pupils behave well and have a real enthusiasm for learning and all aspects of school life. Supported by a dedicated teaching team, very supportive parents, local advisors and trustees, we offer a well-equipped working environment and opportunities for fully supported career professional development within the school and our Trust.

From April 2025 we are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to oversee the daily operations of our on-site Nursery and the working pattern of this role will be 8am - 4pm Monday through to Friday, 39 weeks a year.

In this pivotal role, we are looking for someone who will lead and manage a team of passionate early years professionals, ensuring a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for our youngest pupils.
