Are you an enthusiastic, caring and patient Early Years Practitioner that will engage and motivate our young children? If throughout the day, you are happy to take on varied roles such as being a dinosaur, a builder, a performer, a storyteller or a musician and if you have the ability to sing (not necessarily in tune), then The Grove Academy is the place for you!

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to work in our EYFS team. Our staff care deeply about the development of our youngest pupils and they work hard to tailor our provision to suit the needs of individuals.

We are looking for a like-minded practitioner who enjoys working within a team and who will make positive contributions to the outcomes of our learners. The role is for 34 hours per week, term time only.The position is a permanent, starting from January 2025 and you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

We are seeking to appoint a candidate who:

  • Has high expectations of both themselves and their learners as well as having an excellent understanding of learning and a commitment to working collaboratively
  • Is able to lead by example and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Is well organised and hard working
  • Is keen to learn and develop
  • Is flexible and eager to embrace development and change
  • The successful applicant would be expected to lead small group activities, work with individual children, support the needs of all children and contribute to Tapestry records.

The position is a permanent, starting from January 2025 and candidates must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
