Early Years (Reception) Leader job summary
We are seeking to employ an experienced Teacher to join our team as our EYFS Leader, as our current, highly experienced and long standing EYFS Lead is leaving us at Christmas.
This is a rare opportunity to join our excellent EYFS team. We are seeking to employ someone who will be able to continue the journey to shape our continuous provision and create the best possible educational experience for our children.
We require a good classroom practitioner who has knowledge and experience of Early Years education, someone who is able to lead the team and demonstrate a clear vision for our Reception provision.
Part of the role involves being able to have a clear understanding of the academic standards in EYFS, using the EYFSP and Development Matters Framework to assess and track children's progress as they move through the Foundation Year.
Knowledge and understanding of SEND in the Early Years is an advantage, as is experience of using the Leuven Scales for well-being and involvement.
We are a Church of England School and our ethos and culture is central to our vision, we are looking to appoint someone who places the child at the heart of all they do and values the important of working in partnership with parents and colleagues.

Ursula Taylor C of E School is a two form entry Primary School with children starting with us in Reception and leaving us at the end of Year 6.
