What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Nursery SEND Coordinator to join our existing team, who must be qualified to a level 3 Early Years Practitioner and preferably holda relevant special educational needs and disabilities qualification.

We would consider an experienced level 3 practitioner for the right candidate if willing to undertake relevant training.

We are looking for a child focused staff member that has a particular interest in working with vulnerable children and families. Part of your role would be to work with parents and other professionals developing individual support plans for children with additional needs and ensure that these plans are then implemented within the nursery.You will also be required to undertake relevant safeguarding training in order to work with the leadership team to support vulnerable children, reporting to and attending professional meetings as required.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week flexibly to meet the needs of our nursery which operates from 7am - 6pm. Your role will include working directly within the nursery rooms as an early year’s practitioner as well as dedicated time to undertake your inclusion role.
