What skills and experience we're looking for
The children, staff and Governors of Cossington CE Primary are seeking to recruit a brilliant teacher with a demonstrable passion for guiding and inspiring children. Applicants will need to be passionate about and committed to teaching in Early Years but may also have an interest in extending this experience later in their teaching journey at Cossington if successful.
The successful candidate will share Cossington’s values and recognise the importance of the individuality of every child. They will be flexible and able to show great initiative, will work well with a wide range of practitioners and will strive to improve our thriving and well respected village school alongside a friendly and dedicated team. Applications are welcome from both ECTs qualifying in the summer (2024), ECTs who qualified last summer (2023) and experienced teachers.

• Providing a challenging curriculum and supporting children to exceed their expectations with the ability to inspire, motivate and support our pupils.
• Is committed to the highest standards of learning, teaching, planning with knowledge of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, EYFS profile including Reception Baseline Assessment.
• Has a genuine love of working with children and is committed to the development of the whole child in an inspiring and inclusive environment
