Early Years Teacher (Reception/Y1) job summary
St Joseph’s is a vibrant place where children feel safe, happy and valued to achieve their potential. Learning is engaging and inspiring and we have high expectations for our children in terms of their academic achievements as well as personal, social and emotional development.
Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, talented and positive Early Years teacher to join our happy, hardworking and dedicated team. We are looking for an Early Years teacher who is ambitious to develop their career at our school as we expand, with an interest in SENCO. The role is to teach our Reception/Year 1 class and support the development of our pre-school provision, to provide a nurturing environment where young children will flourish and learn. This is a full-time, established teaching post and is an exciting opportunity for a suitably skilled and passionate teacher to become part of our friendly, aspirational and expanding Catholic school. We would consider a job-share for the right candidates.
Applications are invited from experienced teachers who fully support the distinctive nature and ethos of our small Catholic school and want to work in a supportive and dynamic setting. The successful applicant will have a strong early years ethos and be passionate about how children learn. We are looking for a teacher who can create a stimulating environment which is carefully organised and equipped to meet children’s needs, interests and stages of development.
We are a small staff team and we need a teacher who is a strong team player and wants to contribute to all aspects of school life. We offer wonderful children, supportive governors and leadership and a friendly staff team. As a school, we work in collaboration with our family of Diocesan schools and the STAR Alliance and there will be opportunities to work with teachers and leaders from across the Diocese, with high quality CPD opportunities.
Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged. Applicants should make clear their particular strengths and interests which will make a significant contribution to the school life of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. All applications must be made on the CES application form. Application forms can be downloaded from our website:
http://www.st-josephs-tadcaster.n-yorks.sch.uk/school-info/current-vacancies and the completed form forwarded to admin@st-josephs-tadcater.n-yorks.sch.uk or posted to our school address.
