What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to work at Shatterlocks Infant and Nursery School on a fixed term contract until August 2025. Full time or part time will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
Qualifications:
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
