Thomas Hickman School is looking for a creative, innovative, forward thinking EYFS teacher with a passion for learning that matches ours. We are a school who pull together and work through each term with passion and enthusiasm – come and visit to find out more!

If you like to be creative, imaginative and innovative - perhaps even slightly unconventional - we would love to hear from you. We are looking for the ‘right fit’ - that may be an experienced class teacher, emerging middle leaders. ECTs or Senior Practitioners.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the highest expectations of our children and a desire to develop the whole child.
  • Have a keen interest on how Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences impact learning (Hand on Heart)

  • Have a clear understanding of how to raise standards through excellent teaching and learning
  • Be a BIRD with a keen sense of humour, open to change, and the ability to enthuse and motivate
