The Role
Denaby Main Primary has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team!
We are looking for an experienced, skilled and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join Denaby Main Primary
We provide a happy, secure and energetic community in which our pupils and staff can flourish and the successful candidate will be expected to immerse themselves in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of this busy school.
Applicants should be hard working, motivated and ambitious for their pupils.
As our Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be:
To work under the guidance of Teaching staff or Higher-Level Teaching Assistants to implement agreed curriculum
Use specialist (Curricular / Learning) skills / training / experience to support pupils.
Work with the Teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment
Promote positive values, attitudes and good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
We are looking for individuals who have:
A general understanding of Early Years Curriculum and other basic learning programmes/techniques.
NVQ Level 2 Early Years qualification
An ability to establish good working relationships with pupils acting as a role model.
An ability to support the change process, remaining positive during times of change.
An ability to provide support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
