Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 3 job summary
Maulden Lower School is a single form entry lower school with a pre-school and is able to offer well behaved, engaged children and a learning environment with supportive and friendly staff.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant (Level 3), with a passion for the early years to join our friendly team. You will work closely with the Reception teacher to ensure the children attending the school have the best start in life, by providing a safe and welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment, in line with the highest Ofsted and EYFS standards.
This role is working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 13:00 term time only plus 5 training days.
If you have motivation, drive, passion and creativity for the early years; the ability to work as a team and most importantly have a love for learning and development in the early years we would like to hear from you.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 1 year experience of working in a similar setting.
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner/Childcare (or equivalent). Level 2 qualified would be considered if willing to undertake level 3 qualification training
Sound understanding of the EYFS, child development and children’s needs.
A passion for a career in childcare.
Ability to work well in a small team.
