Working Pattern: 8:40 to 3:30 (30 minutes lunchbreak)

Join our Team at Stapleford Community Primary School Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Stapleford Community Primary School invites applications for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our Reception class.

We are looking for a candidate with experience or a special interest in early years’ education.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the classroom and outdoor learning spaces.
Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities tailored to early years pupils
Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn.
Help to assess children’s progress and report back to teachers and parents
Encourage children’s social and emotional development and communication skills through play and interaction.
Work closely with the class teacher to ensure that the needs of all children are met effectively.
Support SEND students, offering tailored support and fostering their educational development

We're Looking For:

An individual with experience in a school setting, and if possible, in Reception/Early years’ education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to engage with young children and encourage their development.
A proactive, creative, and patient approach to supporting teaching and learning.
