Economics & Business Teacher job summary
Maiden Erlegh School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Economics and Business Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to secondary school students, preparing them for examinations and equipping them with real-world economic and business knowledge.
K Key responsibilities will include:
- To plan, resource and deliver highly effective and inspiring lessons as per the allocated timetable.
- To participate in a designated tutor team, leading highly effective tutor periods.
- To ensure that students make exceptional progress and achieve excellent academic results.
- To work with colleagues to design engaging and challenging schemes of work and lessons.
- To establish and maintain discipline in all aspects of their work and support others in the school to do so.
The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team.
