Education Welfare Officer job summary

Term time only + 1 week (39 weeks a year) 8am - 4pm

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and outstanding Education Welfare Officer to play a crucial role on our inclusive school. The core functions of the post are to help to effectively safeguard all students as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, by supporting the DSL, to implement the safeguarding policy effectively. In addition, the EWO is also responsible for raising standards of attendance and punctuality and hence attainment and to support our most vulnerable young people and their families.

Relevant experience essential and a degree or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable, as well as a valid driving licence.
