What skills and experience we're looking for
Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Education Welfare Officer, who can encourage, and where necessary, enforce the school attendance of all children to fulfil the Local Authority's statutory duty. In addition, you will make lone home visits and establish relationships to encourage improved pupil attendance. You will work with a small group of our Trust schools, building effective, localised relationships. There will be an element of time working from home and you will be expected to be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team, using established protocols and best practice methods.
