We have a vacancy for two confident, enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced EducationWelfareOfficer/Student and Family Support Workers to join a successful pastoral team in the School from September 2022 on a permanent contract.
These posts are very important in the School and the School is seeking to appoint individuals who can liaise effectively, skilfully and sensitively with students, families and external agencies to improve the outcomes for students.
The successful candidates will:
- enjoy working with a wide range of young people and adults in a busy learning environment
- have knowledge and understanding of young people from varied backgrounds and communities
- have excellent organisational skills and is reliable, efficient, flexible and adaptable
- have strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- have excellent inter-personal skills and can use their initiative when necessary
- have relevant experience of successfully supporting young people and families
- be able to make a real contribution to the life of this School
You will join a strong, highly effective pastoral support team providing support to students and families to improve their engagement with School and learning. You will be expected to work flexibly and effectively with student, families, staff and external agencies.
