Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust, comprising of eight schools, six primary schools and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Education Welfare Officers to join the pastoral teams at Carleton High School and The King’s School. The candidates will engage with families to support them to engage with the school and recognise the importance of attendance. They will facilitate effective partnerships between parents, families and the school and its partners, and reduce pupil absence across the school.
Both posts are a 37 hours per week, term time plus two days, permanent contracts, equating to 192 working days per annum.
Roles are based at:
- 1x vacancy at Carleton High School, Green Lane, Pontefract, WF8 3NW
- 1x vacancy at The King’s School, Mill Hill Lane, Pontefract, WF8 4JF
