Educational Support Assistant job summary

Being an Educational Support Assistant at Spen Valley High School, you will be part of an extensive Personalised Learning Provision, which includes our SEN team and behaviour support. The successful candidate must be passionate about working with young people and have the drive and enthusiasm to support our students to overcome their barriers to learning.

Applicants require Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above to qualify for this role. We would consider a Level 3 Teaching Apprenticeship for those who have not yet qualified as a Teaching Assistant.

The role is term time plus 3 days, working hours 8.30am - 3pm (4pm on a Monday to attend CPD).

This role may appeal to anyone considering teacher training to gain some experience in a school.
