ELSA trained Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic, inspired and experienced TA/ELSA into our inclusive, friendly and professional team of Support Staff at Harnham C of E Junior School.
If you have a passion to ensure that all children flourish and a commitment to help them work towards that goal, have worked as an ELSA or have experience of effectively supporting vulnerable pupils and would like to develop your skills further, then we would like to hear from you.
Are you the person we are looking for? We invite applications from Teaching Assistants who:
• are independent and use initiative;
• are creative and can motivate children and colleagues;
• can support pupils’ learning in groups or by 1:1 work;
• can support pupils’ well-being and emotional learning, using their ELSA training and experience;
• are enthusiastic and have a positive outlook;
• are able to play a vital part in a welcoming, professional, supportive team.
