Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity to work as an ELSA within our successful and welcoming school. As an ELSA you will have a key role within our student support teams with responsibility for managing our ELSA hub, facilitating 1 to 1 and group intervention sessions as well as leading on our peer mentoring programmes. We will also consider appointing 2 part-time roles.
You will be an integral part of our Safeguarding team and should hold an ELSA qualification or be willing to be trained. You will also be required to provide support to students, liaising with and referring to other support mechanisms within and outside of the school.
