This post would suit a passionate and motivated colleague who is experienced in working successfully with pupils, and finding innovative ways of maximising the potential of children with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to ensure high levels of personal development and high levels of academic success.

As an Engagement Mentor you will need to share our commitment and vision and thrive as part of a team of likeminded colleagues. Our collection of schools is not only changing but also growing. As a result, this could lead to further progression opportunities within our schools over time.

The successful candidate will be able to engage and enthuse our pupils and work cooperatively within a diverse team of professionals from across the education and wider care landscape. Our mantra “we never give up” underpins our approach to working with pupils and guides and underpins our values. This is a fundamental part of all our school’s vision so it is important that the successful candidate can fully embrace and embody this philosophy.

We understand that our staff team are at the heart of our success. We have developed a strong culture of collaboration and cooperation with a high regard for personal and professional development. If you feel that you have the ability and drive to enable our students to reach their full potential, joining our school also offers many personal benefits including:

  • A strong commitment to your continuing professional development and training opportunities
  • Being part of a highly regarded, highly supportive and ambitious school/federation

Therefore, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other vetting procedures including the provision of two good references.

We may undertake an online check for shortlisted candidates.
