• Carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with academy policies, under the direction of the Principal.
• Promoting the achievement of high standards through the delivery of effective teaching and learning via a relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.
• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within subject area(s) through preparation, evaluation and action planning.
• To contribute to the Curriculum Area and department’s development plan and its implementation.
• To take part in the academy’s staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development.
