We believe in 'growing great teachers' and have a two year training programme in place for NQTs.
A bespoke in house CPD programme for all staff which, this year, is held on Thursday afternoons (the school closes early) and covers areas such as (and this is by no means exhaustive) Teacher Toolkit sessions, Leadership Pathways, Departmental Development Time, T&L Groups, IT Development and SEN Strategy.

We have invested heavily in our school with new Maths and English blocks added in the last 4 years and, this year, will be adding 2 new Science Classrooms to further enhance our school.

English and/or Drama Teacher (Maternity Cover - One Year fixed term contract) job summary
We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of English and Drama for a one year, fixed term, maternity contract who can positively influence teaching and learning across the school, using innovative techniques to motivate our students.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach both subjects across KS3 & KS4 and will be joining outstanding departments who achieve excellent results and are warmly regarded by both staff and students alike.
At CBSC there is a strong emphasis on sustaining and raising achievement in innovative ways and there is a genuine commitment to collaboration and professional development with a bespoke CPD programme.
