An opportunity has arisen for you to join our highly focused, dedicated staff in the role of teacher of English. Teaching across key stages 3,4 and 5 we are looking for an excellent practitioner who can deliver innovative and creative lessons which challenge and engage students to progress academically and develop personally during their time at the academy.

We all work with one another to deliver an outstanding and interesting curriculum for KS3-KS5 as well as prioritising time for coaching. This post would suit either a new entrant to the profession or an experienced teacher.We would welcome a teacher returning to work after a career break and will consider part time or flexible working where possible.
We endeavour to utilise each teacher's specialism and offer the opportunity to teach A level in our sixth form centre for the right candidate.

We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-16 years based in Hucknall and, together with our partner academies, offer post 16 study at the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.
We support our young people, so they enjoy their time at the academy and play a key part in all that academy life has to offer.
