What skills and experience we're looking for

  • The successful candidate will have a focus on literacy at KS3, as such KS2 experience may be beneficial (though not essential)
  • You must have:
  • a passion to enthuse students using expertise in English and Reading
  • be outgoing, flexible and adaptable to cope with demands of the role
  • have a commitment to professional development
  • have experience of working with children
  • be able to manage a whole classroom environment
  • be a form tutor and support the academic and pastoral development of your tutor group
  • have a passion for extra-curricular/enrichment activities
