Are you a talented educator with a big heart who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our pupils?

We are seeking to appoint an English Teacher with effect from September 2026 or sooner to cover maternity leave until the substantive postholder returns which is expected to be for the academic year 2026-27.

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join the Garth Hill team. We welcome applications from both full and part-time (minimum 0.6fte) applicants.

If you are an early career teacher then we welcome your application. A July start is available and our support for ECTs is highly regarded. ECTs are on a reduced timetable with a dedicated mentor. As a large school, a permanent position may become available in the near future.
